Courtesy Boat Inspection program

DLWA volunteer inspectors will monitor boats entering the Lake at the public boat launch on Bunker Hill Rd in an effort to prevent an invasive aquatic plant infestation.  There are 26 lakes in Maine which currently suffer from infestations of plants such as variable water-milfoil and hydrilla, but constant vigilance is necessary to prevent new ones.  Contact us to become an inspector.
