DLWA depends on the support of volunteers to accomplish our mission. Volunteers can get involved with DLWA in a number of ways. We have short term and longer-term opportunities to participate. You can choose how to get involved depending on how much time and energy you are willing and able to extend.

Some ways to volunteer with DLWA:

  • BECOME A MEMBER!
  • Become a member of the Non Point Source quick response team
  • Be involved
  • Education
    • Lead preserve tours or nature walks
    • Seek school outreach
    • Become a member of the Education Committee
  • Do Trail work
  • Help in fundraising
  • Help with Administrative tasks
    • Assist in mailings, office support
  • Maintain Web site
  • Monitor water quality
  • Plan special events
  • Practice stewardship
  • Serve as a committee member
  • Write for our newsletter
