Shirley Chisholm DLWA depends on the support of volunteers to accomplish our mission. Volunteers can get involved with DLWA in a number of ways. We have short term and longer-term opportunities to participate. You can choose how to get involved depending on how much time and energy you are willing and able to extend. Some ways to volunteer with DLWA: BECOME A MEMBER! Become a member of the Non Point Source quick response team Be involved Education Lead preserve tours or nature walks Seek school outreach Become a member of the Education Committee Do Trail work Help in fundraising Help with Administrative tasks Assist in mailings, office support Maintain Web site Monitor water quality Plan special events Practice stewardship Serve as a committee member Write for our newsletter If you are interested in becoming a DLWA volunteer, contact DLWA at 207-549-3836 or print out the DLWA Volunteer Opportunities Form and send it to us through the mail.
